Download the extension

Download the latest Scout build as a ZIP file and unzip it on your computer.

Open Chrome Extensions

Go to your Chrome browser and navigate to the Extensions manager.

ℹ️ Works in Chrome 88+ and any Chromium-based browser.

Enable Developer Mode

Toggle on "Developer mode" in the top-right corner of the Extensions page.

ℹ️ You'll see three new buttons appear: "Load unpacked", "Pack extension", and "Update".

Load the extension folder

Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder you downloaded in step 1.

ℹ️ Select the entire folder — not a file inside it.

Pin Scout to your toolbar

Click the puzzle icon (🧩) in Chrome's toolbar and pin DivDev Scout for quick access.

ℹ️ You'll see the </> icon appear in your toolbar.

Sign in

Click the Scout icon, then sign in — your sessions sync automatically with the dashboard.

ℹ️ Scout uses your existing divdev.ai account. No separate login needed.

🔒 The extension only activates on pages linked to your projects.
Your data stays private — nothing is collected without your explicit action.
